Experience AfterPoint

Grief is an inevitable human experience, a silent thread that eventually connects us all when we lose someone we love. Yet despite how universal this pain is, navigating life in the aftermath can feel deeply isolating, largely because our support systems fall so far short.

In a society that often expects grievers to move forward too quickly or without guidance after losing a loved one, AfterPoint offers a wide variety of resources to grievers and those who work in death-related industries that far exceed what exists today.

Speaking Events & Workshops

After a loss, grief doesn't just exist between the walls of the funeral home. Grievers must navigate a world with a forced to-do list: going to banks, insurance companies, government agencies...the list goes on. They are met with uncomfortable interactions and inconvenient processes that not only add more stress but also bring more tears.

Could you and your team benefit from professional guidance and training in how to be a light in the lives' of those picking up the pieces after a loved one dies? AfterPoint offers tailored workshops and topical speaking that could elevate how your business handles those going through dark moments.

Grief & I

AfterPoint's founder, Sara Yates, wrote this book after the death of her mother. By giving Grief a face and a form right on the page, this book makes a hard, invisible feeling something people of any age can see, name, and understand.

Bringing light into the way we deal with dark moments.

Loss is complicated. We believe grieving is a personal, non-linear, and unpredictable process. Therefore, it's not often a topic many know how - or want - to talk about.

But it's different here. We say the words that don't come naturally, we bring up the uncomfortable momments, and make sure no one leaves feeling like they are "doing it wrong".

It's our top priority that AfterPoint's brand, products, and experiences hold up to our human-first, experience-driven values in every way, for every kind of griever or partner we work with.
